Hi,
I've just got the Creative FPS2000Digital speakers, and have a question about the digital DIN cable included within.

It is keyed, and there is no place on my SB Live Player 1024 to plug in the cable. Because of the way some holes are filled up, it won't plug in anywhere.

Does anyone know where to plug it if I remove the fillings in some holes?

Thanks,
Brendan

You need an SBLive with a digital out. It's yellow and at the top of the card. (x-gamer, mp3+, platinum, new value digitals.)

It does have the yellow port but it isn't the DIN.

Hhowever, I took out my old SB Live Value (had got the player to replace it), and took one look to see the port to plug in the digital DIN port.

Now my FPS2000 are working great! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

OPPS!

Yeah, you have to call creative and they send you a converter for that yellow output to din. I had to when I bought my 2500's.

You replaced your SBLive value with what???

I had a SB Live Value for the last 1 1/2 years, and was after getting the Player 1024 to replace it, but there isn't that much difference, so I'll do with the Value dition in this computer.
