I have an ABIT SE6 mobo using 800EB not O/C w/ 128MB ram, PCI DX3 (Creative Labs DVD Encoder) and a internal PCI 3Com modem. I installed the hardware monitor software that came with it and when I ran the program, it's giving me a -5V warning. It seems that my system is running at -6.45V where the limit is only -6. I checked it on the CMOS and it's giving the same reading.
Can anybody tell me what this warning message is and what should I do to correct it.

I have a BH6 mobo. Found out the Abit mobo doesn't work well with cheap power supplies. I've tried 3 different 300w ps and they all did the same thing. Soon to get a name brand ps, as soon as more arrive.

My -5 goes to -0.00 after hitting -6.14
So don't feel too bad, yours still registers a voltage.

thanks imperion1. But does this affect the mobo or the performance of my system?
