just recently my mobo has given me some problem. when i try to restart my computer either from after installing some programs or from the start menu i always get this message saying spmething like bios rom checksum error or something like that and ask me to insert the system disk so i did insert the win98 boot disk but my keyboard won't even wok so i had to turn off the power and reboot again
anyone ever faced this type of problem with be6-2 board?

How old is the board? Check the BIOS and see if the proper date is still being displayed. If not, it may be the battery. Try different memory modules if you can. Worst case your ROM chip on the mobo is fried or the info is corrupted. There are viruses which can get this deep. Prayer helps too.
