I just got one of these to hook up four more hard drives to my system. When I plug it in, I get an error, it says that it is conflicting with the controler on board, what do I have to do to get them to work side by side and let me have 8 hard drives instead of 4?

Some "add-on" controllers are setup to use IRQ's and mem addresses that are DIFFERENT and some "replacement" controllers use the SAME settings as "Standard on-board controllers thus the conflict. You need a card that uses DIFFERENT settings so they can work together http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif So see if your card is configurable http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

That is the install site, can anyone tell my if it can be configured like that, and if so, how?

You cannot use more than one eide controller (UDMA 66 doesn't count) in a computer. You may be able to use an UDMA controller for what you want?
