Does it "lock up" only during burning? If "yes," make certain no other programs are running and that screensaver and any suspend settings are disabled during burn process.

Good luck.

Hi,

I've got a P3V4X mobo with voodoo3 2000 AGP and PII 300. I seems to be having problems with win 98 locking up on me at random. I haven't put the system under any serious load. I've managed to O/C it to 337, but that's as high as it will go. It doesn't seem to matter if it is O/C'd or not, it still Locks up when set at 300. I was trying to burn some disks last night aNd had real problems with it locking up. Could it have anything to do with the 4 in 1 drivers that the mobo came with? I believe that the bios is version 1005. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It seems to be OK now, I re-installed the CDRW, switched from the 4in1 V4.20 to V4.17 and I now disable my screen saver, power saver etc...when burning. Thanks for the help!
