I am putting together a system with an Asus K7V mb. and a AMD800 cpu. What are the Op Frequency settings such as: Dram to CPU frequency Ratio, CPU frequency, etc. I had a msg. saying I was overclocking and these settings were set back to "standard".
if it is like the k7m you will need a gfd to get the max out of that chip the fsb maxs out on the k7m at 113 mhz fsb so i can only get 850 with the board only from a 750
hope this helps

these settings depend on your memory!!
its the ratio between memory and front side bus.
if you run your system at 100 mhz bus and if you have 133mhz ram or good 100 mhz ram try 4:3 ratio. this setting runs the memory at 124 mhz. if you use 3:3 your memory runs with 100 mhz (standard front side bus)
the overclocking message is not interesting at all when your system runs fine. its for overclockers who overclock too far. then the mobo turns into safe mode and allows you to boot with default settings. very useful!!!
before that you had to clear cmos with a jumper an the mainboard.
try to turn off pc by running windows down correctly and not to pull the power cord while the pc is running and this message certainly won´t appear any more!
