I have a Jetboard version 3 m/b that is currently running a Cyrix 6x86 p166+ (133mhz 3.3v) processor. the board is running the 11/07/96-i430VX chipset. I was told that this chipset has fully synchronous 25/30/33 MHz PCI Bus Interface but I want to put in a Cyrix MII 300MHz processor that runs at 2.9v and 75MHz. Will my m/b run this processor?

The VX chipset won't run 75 MHz. Get the Cyrix MII-300 "66 MHz bus 3.5x 2.9V" flavor, it's the easiest to get anyway.
Your mainboard needs to have split voltage CPU support as well, and yet might still not be able to feed it - it'll need to have an 8 Ampere capable CPU power supply (10 if that Cyrix is from IBM manufacturing).
BIOS usually isn't a problem if it supports the original 6x86.
