Does anyone know this board and can tell me something about it?

One month ago I bought a new PC, an PIII 667 on an ASUS P3V4X, which I returned to the dealer today, because of quite instable system.

I'm now looking for a board that supports UDMA66, AGP 2x better 4x and 133 FSB. Does anyone know a good board?

i have the cubx and a coppermine 700

this board is **** good and rock stable
but its spec are only 100 mhz fsb and agp 2x.

but i heard from many other that it runs even at 150 stable.
the main advantages are the 8!!! ide drives you can connect and the good old bx chipset!

i also have a geforce 256 which runs fine with agp 2x.
with the same geforce the athlon 800 of my friend runs slower than my 700 although he has agp 4x on his asus k7v

i think you should go for it... its a good choice!

Can you use pc-133 ram with the CUBX?
Is the CUBX slot one or 370?
Thanks

sure you can use 133 mhz ram but at standard cpu settings it runs only at 100 mhz or 133mhz. this depends on the cpu you use.
the cubx is stable even at 150 mhz! look at http://www.tomshardware.com for this board. it performes very well.

it is a fcpga socket board

Get yerself the msi 6153!!!

It ranges in fsb from 66 to 153 in steps of about 8Mhz!!!!
1 agp, 5 pci, and 2 isa.
Voltage is adjustable, in steps of 0.05V
It supports Celeron 1 and 2 as well as the coppermine fc-pga version!!!

I still haven't gotten myself one, but I will as soon as I get my paycheck!!!

The MSI BX Master is a great board too. It's slot 1, but adapters are available.

I hope to upgrade mine in the next few months. The only drawback I've seen in overclocking reviews is the agp factor with all BX boards.

built one for customer today,256mb pc133,pIII550,g400,2xudma66 hdd's,cdrom, cdwriter, sblive, tvtuner bumped the bus up to 140mhz,vio 3.6v,cas3,cpu at 770mhz1.85v installed unrealtourne and tested it for a few hrs it ran great,no conflicts or locks dropped it back to 133mhz to be safe and left it running over night looping 3dmark so i'll see tommorrow if all's well but seems a good stable board.
