I have a PC3V4X Mobo and a PIII600/133. Using a 370 adapter(noname). I have tried installing Win98 (1st+2nd) as a clean installation. But right after the installation, an error from Windows occur, about an error in Registry. I am not overclocking anything. I have no other card than my videocard.
I have tried on 2 Asus PC3V4X motherboard, same problem. Using a Celeron work fine (non o-clocked).

I a new processor, a 667Mhz/133, and when I installed it, I got the same problem again with registry error.

I dont know what to do. I want to run 133FSB, and I am using 128/133 SDRAM, and have tested 2 diff. Ram modules.

HELP :O))

Could be a slot adapter problem.

If you haven't find a working cure yet try another power supply. Especially if your BX chip (the greeny) feels extremely hot the power supply can be the problem. Had a problem with windows when I put my BX6-2 in another system with a different power supply (both 235W). I got protection faults with every commando i gave to windows. When I tried to reinstall windows I got al sort of errors during install. It all stopt when i replaced the power supply with my own.
