Okay, does anyone remember the song that goes "Ooooo child, things are gonna get easier"

This is driving me mad here! I remember that song from when I was a kid. Thought maybe Jackson 5 did it, but can't find it. Kinda has a MoTown sound to it, but............

Please help. I have so little hair left, I'd kinda like to keep it.

Anyway, I'm sure someone will go as nutsy as I am and run into someone who knows it.

Like you said, it could well be a woman's voice, but then again, sometimes through the song.............. androgeny is a beotch, huh?
