Programming the bios

I've got a bunch of Compaq prolenea (aka POS) computers that I need to disable the keyboard check on. Unfortunatly, there doesn't seem to be any option in the BIOS setup utility to do it. Is it possible to disable the check using some C code if you knew the right location in memory? I don't even know what bios it is, it doesn't say when it starts up.... Hopefully compaq tech support will be able to tell me.

Some BIOS's have a 'Halt on' setting where you can choose 'All but Keyboard'. It might be worth a try to see if yours have.
