I will be putting together a new system shortly, and I have a question about the motherboard. If I purchase a motherboard with an AGP slot, must I use an AGP card in the AGP slot, or can I use my Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card in a PCI slot? If I can get away with using my PCI card for awhile longer...

You can run your PCI vid card without any problems http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

You will have no problem just using your PCI card but make sure that in the BIOS settings you choose the 'Boot up video - PCI' option and not AGP otherwise you may have some problems.
