I have a VA 503+ AT motherboard, ADM K62, 128mb ram, Diamond Stelth 2000 vid card and I can't get any display!
The system boots with no beeps but nothing comes up on the monitor. I know it is a good video card because I took it out of my working pc put it in and nothing, put it back in my working one and it works. Also, the floppy drive light doesn't come on at all, even if I have a boot disk in. When I power up, Hard drive spins, cdrom lights up, power lcd and hdd lcd are on.
Could the Board be bad? A friend bought the board, case, modem, cdrom for $50. I had to replace the power supply. I am thinking the board must be bad or I am missing something.
Any suggestions?

Maybe the fact that the PSU was bad relates to the mobo suffering some damage when it died. I would try checking that everything is seated correctly and try setting the bios to default settings.
Try reseating the cpu. And then VERY carefully double check ALL jumpers and make sure you have the addendum to the manual because it corrects some print errors involving the jumpers. I've found that you might have to tweak the bios just to get it into windows. And be aware that you are dealing with one of the trickiest boards in the world to set up.

I should at least be able to get a bootup screen with just cpu, mem and video card installed. Nothing, nadda, zilch.
All jumpers seem to be correct according to the manul I d/l'd from their site.
A final test I thought I might try after work, is to take out the ram and power up. If I don't get any beep codes, I'd assume the board is bad. Sound logical?

The cpu is the first thing checked during the boot sequence. If it fails - your system halts there with no beeps. I would recommend verifying the cpu in another board and another cpu in yours. That should help you narrow it down.

took out the mem, no beeps. Replaced the processor with my old Pentium 200 MMX and beep beep beep.
Processor (AMD K6 400) is bad. After looking at the processor I found that one of the pins on the corner
is bent all the way over, thus getting no kind of contact at all. Think that would be the problem with it?
She is going to get a new one anyway.
Right on the money Mark.

Glad it worked. You can probably bend the pin back if you do it very carefully. Watch out for ESD - don't let your body come in contact the pins.

While trying to bend the pin back....snap!
It broke all the way off. Bummer!
I guess vice grips weren't the best choice in tools to use! hehehe
