Soft-Off is available only when the mainboard is connected to an ATX power supply. AT power supply units can't be controlled by the mainboard.

Does anyone know if the Tyan Trinity 100AT motherboard can automatically shut it's self off after you click shutdown? Or does it have to go to the "safe to turn off your computer" every time.
