the best s7 motherboard out of every single mobo for the s7, and under 100 bucks is the Asus P5A 5PCI for ATX or P5A-B 3PCI for Baby AT. Supports all K6-2s. Undocumented settings, include upto 133MHz FSB not only 100, and up to 8x multiplier. Uses jumpers than BIOS. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I love my P5-A and my P5-AB. Have never overclocked them, though. Don't know enough about the process and don't care to fry anything. Any clues as to the best way to undertake this process?

the epox mvp3g2 is quite good and very stable...also the gigabyte ga5ax is good and has a great selection of FSBs over 100 (105, 110 and so on to 140)...

With a K6-2, a mainboard with large L2 cache will help more than a slight overclock.

Epox MVP3G5 in ATX, and DFI K6BV3+/66-2 in BAT, offer 2 MB L2 cache and UDMA66 IDE controllers. Don't go without those features.
