Does anyone know if it is possible to bypass the region coding in a DVD drive. My old drive was not region locked but my new one (toshiba sdm1302) is (i think). I can get round the software encoding cos i have an ATI card and use tweak128. But the drive is still a problem.
Any suggestions

If you wanted to be a little bit naughty, you would visit this site about DVDs - http://www.7thzone.com/ -, especially the Region Unlocking section. Fortunately for you, the model of DVDROM you have doesn't appear to have a fix yet, so your capacity for naughtiness is limited.
Of course you could check back now and again, but I'm sure you won't do that.
