I administer a large network, and our department is VERY understaffed. We suffer many attempted hacks and security breaches and I need a way to tighten security. A recent problem is with Key loggers. These files embed themselves in windows and log every key typed, even keys from the logon!! They grab user ids and passwords. A huge sec urity hole. McAfee Virus scan won't detect them. Does anybody know how to protect from key logging software. I can't find anything.

What type of keylogers?
are you running NT??
do you have a novell client administrator?
is this @ university?
we had the same problems in our network here at the university, but there were a few stuff that we did to stop this.
You first have to find out what type of keylogger and where is it installed.
send me an email with more info, and I will c what I can dig up
Ketlogger is really a neat solution for many things. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
