Asus K7V vs. Abit KA7

Which do you think is better for Athlons, the Asus K7V or the Abit KA7?

As I understand it, Asus's motherboards are rock solid.I own one(P2B)and have another on the way(K7V).

Ya, that's what I thought. I ordered an Asus K7V when it came out. Then I heard about the Abit KA7 so I was just a bit curious. Haven't gotten my K7V yet though http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

I'm getting my K7V Tomorrow I know you made a good choice. www.anandtech.com (http://www.anandtech.com) has some reviews on the Abit board and they weren't that good.The K7V got a very good review and it is rock stable.Goodluck.Let us know how your system works out.I'm interested.Thanks Ken.

I was going to get the K7V, but then I changed my mind and ordered the Abit KA7. Anandtech gave it a great review. It wasn't as stable as the K7V, but the KA7 has 6 PCI slots, and no annoying onboard audio or modem riser slots.
