Hey everyone, I just am trying to find someone who has dealt with this mobo. Im gonna build my own system, and I would like to hear anyones thoughts on the K7V which i think im gonna base the system on. Thanx!

I'm getting my K7V ON 4/14/2000 .I have an Athlon 750 cpu with a Viper II,AUREAL VORTEX sq2500 SOUNDCARD,WD 20.5 ATA66 7200 HD,128 mb of Corsair PC133,Promise FastTrack66 controller.Antec 300 watt Power supply.Altec lancing AC56 surround sound 4 speakers and Subwoofer.I'll let you know how it goes .I'll be working on it all weekend.Case and drives are installed waiting for the motherboard???

Sounds kool, wish the best of luck to you. You said that you have a FastTrak ultra66 controller, but i was under the impression that the K7V had Ultra66 ATA built into the board itself. Is there a particular reason your using a seperate controller card? Also, is the card a genuine FastTrak, or is it a modified Promise Ultra66, like sysopt has a how-to-guide on. just curious, thanx
