Must be a big job. I work in a yard in U.S. Steel, and we have yards all through out the country. Whenever there's a major breakdown at any of those, Mechanics from our yard have to go there to help out. Whoever they send usually ends up working crazy hours like that also.

Well at least he's making some good money!

I heard from Pickle a couple of days ago, yep he's working hard, but from what he was saying in his e-mail I don't think he is fully over that bout of Flu he had at Christmas, as he is finding it really hard going and is extreamly tired, Time to send him some pick me up e-mail I think.

He's been working 12 hour days, 6 or 7 days per week... doesn't have much time to post..

I also forgot to mention that it is quite common for people in our trade/union to work these kind of hours if we want to.

After the first week all the days just kind of run together and you become a zombie. And the taxes will really depress you.

I think he is haveing a rough time coming back to work after being ill for some time and then working all these hours.
I hope he decides to take this weekend off.
