Does anyone have any experiances or know where I can find a review for this board? I heard it's a good user friendly board. Also the same questions for the DFI K6BV3+/66. They're both AT board.

Thanks in advance!

Here is my review, From what I can see this board only differs from mine (MVP3C Epox) by adding DMA-66. If you are looking for a solid, reliable board then I would recommend it, no problems at all. The only thing I dont like is placement of clock multiplier jumpers under drive frame. You can easily set voltage jumpers, and the FSB settings can be changed in CMOS. It also has onboard temperature monitor, and I've flashed the bios with no problems. For other reviews of MVP3 boards try here www.epox.com/html/english/reviews.htm (http://www.epox.com/html/english/reviews.htm) (note- they may have picked the good ones only)

Hi!

I've been using K6BV3+/66 recently (2 MB L2 cache flavor), but didn't have time to post a User Review yet.

In short, the board has everything you'd ever need in a BAT Super-7 board: UDMA66 (cable included), CPU voltages from 1.3V to 3.5V, up to 2 MB L2 cache, 3 DIMM, 1/4/3 AGP/PCI/ISA slots, AT and ATX power connectors, two fan connectors, hardware monitors for the fans and voltages (Windows software included). Non-overclocked CPU bus speeds (with all bus speeds in their specified ranges) are 66, 83, 95, 97 and 100. Overclocked speeds 75 and 112 are also available (112 is not in the manual).

I stuffed the last one I used with four PCI cards (NIC, framegrabber/TV, UWSCSI and graphics), no conflicts, no complaints, it just plain and simple works. Same after I replaced the PCI graphcis with an AGP TNT2M64.

The only complaints I have are:

The manual lists the 75 MHz CPU bus mode as having 30 MHz PCI and 60 MHz AGP, while in reality it is 37.5/75.
As still usual with BAT mainboards, USB slot bracket is not included. (PS/2 mouse bracket is.)

Why do I prefer it over the Epox? Epox's MVP3C2 (512KB L2 only) costs MORE than DFI's 2MB model, with otherwise identical features.

Regards, Peter

Thanks, to Peter Missel and cyclone2 for their reviews. This message board is great. I've posted on other boards and its like no one is out there.

Thanks again
