Hi Everyone,

I have a basic question about this m/b. To my understanding, the Celeron runs at a core voltage of 2.0 V, PIII's at 1.65, and Celermines at 1.5 (please correct me if I'm wrong). Now, does the P3B adjust the voltage automatically based on the processor installed? The reason I ask is because I have a Celeron 400 installed and I don't think the manual voltage setting goes below 1.8 (or something like that) in the bios. For celerons, would I have to play with the jumpers on my slocket? On that vein, do the Celeron II's work with this motherboard with a FC-PGA to Slot1 adapter? Thanks for any info! By the way, I checked the Asus site and couldn't find any reference to core voltage ranges for this m/b.

Not much help but I do have the same board, only I have yet to see it take power(awaiting cpu)going 550e route but as I see it in the manual- voltage is auto and should take any celly over 266. Hope all works out for p3b-f http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks for the info Hoopla. I would like to eventually try a Celeron II but I don't really want to buy a new m/b to do it. How do you like your board? You mentioned you were waiting for the CPU - what do you have in it now?
