I have a Tyan 1590s with via mvp3-agp chipset. does anyone know if it is possible to achieve fsb speeds higher than 100mhz with this board? the manual says the highest rated speed is 100, but i know that a lot of motherboards have undocumented support for higher bus speeds. any replies/suggestions appreciated.

if it has anintel chipset i doubt it will do higher than 100 FSB, as far as I know you need the 440bx chipset to do that and i am thinking that board might have a 440 lx or maybe it was ex?

it has the via mvp3 agp chipset...i found the other undocumented jumper settings,...one was for 75mhz, and the other for 68.5mhz...not a very useful fsb setting.

this site says it all about that board and shows some clocking results it's a little dated but still valid http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.funsreview.com/tyan100.htm
