Are you using a power hungry Video card? I've seen no name PS's that caused trouble, even a name brand PS can be/go bad. Do you have access to a known good spare PS? Not saying this is the prob, but it's just 1 of many trouble shooting steps. This is assuming you have checked all power connections and that the mobo is not grounded out to the case.

occasionally when i power on my machine i get nothing, no beep and no startup. when i cut the power and then turn back on it starts right up. is there a setting im missing or is this a common problem with this motherboard? my processor is a p3500 oc to 610, but the problem occured even at 500.
