i have a motherboard out of a huge gateway tower.(server?)
the case had no power supply when i got it. gateway's not sayin' anything about it
because i don't have the numbers off the case.
don't have a bios i.d. and here's why; i don't want to power the board up until i get more details
on whether or not i can try it with a 166mhz, 66mhz bus pentiun cpu.
need to know if it wants edo ram or regular 72 pin ram(parity or non-parity)
and what the jumpers located next to the board voltage jumpers are for.
here are the details:
>cpu socket---------------------------socket 7
>?board i.d. numbers,stenciling on the solder side--------L-9725-8 ml-1 94u_0
>other letters on the solder side-----"C E"
>pci chipset--------------------------430hx pci chipset
>?ram slots----------------------------four 72 pin, two 168 pin
>isa slots----------------------------three
>pci slots----------------------------four
>?cpu jumpers-------------------------50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75m
>?cpu core voltage jumpers------------2.5, 2.8, 2.9, 3.2, 3.5v
>board voltage jumpers----------------3, 5v
>primary, secondary ide ports
>big chip i.d.'d as "burroughs"
>amibios 586
what i figure are the board i.d. numbers are hard to figure
because i have not been able to get any hits on anything like them.
i'll appreciate any tips i can get.
