Saw in a previous topic that had to use the ata 33 slot to load windows (have done that) and then install the ata 66 drivers and switch the hd cables. I have a BX Master and Maxtor 20 GB 7200 drive. Anyone had experience with this process and want to lend a hand ?

After a few reformat's and reinstalls with my Promise Card I can tell you that you do not need to install the HD onto the ATA33 in order to install WIN.

Just have it hooked up to your ATA66, set your BIOS to boot to SCSI first and go from there.

Once you are into WIN, a Mass (or large) Storage will be detected - that's when you need to install the drivers.
