How many IRQs are in the Intel VC820 Motherboard?

All PCs have the same number of IRQs. Numbers 0 thru 7 are the original first set. Then numbers 8 thru 15 are cascaded into IRQ 2. But not all IRQs are available for your use, and that is another story. There are two excellent books on the subject that I heartily recommend. First "The IRQ Book" by Kate Chase. And "IRQ DMA & I/O" third Ed. by Jim Aspinwall.

IF YOU ARE USING WIN 95 OR 98.
go to system properties, device manager,
dub click on the computer it will list the
IRQ's and what is using them
