Sorry to bother you again but first of all, everything came up great, seeing everything and pretty quick too, but now after it did all its reading of the hardware and I reboot, I get an error as follows:
Conflict I/O ports 378 2F8 3F8
I checked in system and see that com1 and com3 are conflicting, but cant find a setting that does not conflict with something. Do you think that I have some kind of jumpers set wrong? I took the exact config off the mobo website that were specifically for this processor.
Any ideas?
THANKS AGAIN, this setup has been he*#!!!

There are'nt any jumpers on the M/B that will effect your I/O settings. If you are running some legacy devices, such as an older ISA modem, you may have to rearrange some jumpers on the device. Normally I/O settings are controlled through the BIOS, and device manager.
One thing (VERY IMPORTANT) with this board.....you MUST use the the com port cables supplied with the M/B. If you don't, you will get errors, and usually a serial mouse won't even be detected.
If it's any help, this is how my com & printer ports are set up:
Com1......3F8....IRQ 4 (mouse)
Com2......2F8....IRQ 3 (null modem)
Com4......2E8....IRQ 3 (dialup)
LPT1......378....IRQ 7 (printer)
Good luck.

Just wanted to let you know how I finally took care of the problem. The final one on this pc cause its going back to its owner today and in total wonderful working order thanks to you M1pilot.
I ended up deleting my com1,2,3 & printer ports in system and disabled all of them in bios. I went and installed everything and then the unused com & printer ports I enabled. WAALAA!!! No conflicts and a pretty quick pc.
Thanks for the help
