Need help.. mobo is SIS 471 G Main board INV. 7.0 -- AMI BIOS ID string is 40-0107-428003-
00001111-072594-SIS471-H .. manufactured by QDI .. Need a BIOS upgrade chip,went to QDI
received no answer..need a source oh! ship set is SIS 85C471 w/80486DX2 cpu.

I've looked around it seems that SIS are manufacturers of the chipset and not the system board itself, do you have SIS's homepage I could look at?

There are few more numbers in the AMIBIOS section for QDI, I'm afraid though because of that board's age you may not be able to buy a replacement that way, you might have to look for a used board that is the same model.
