single click!!!

I'm new to computers and in my comp, icons to be double-clicked whereas in my friend's computer, only one click. whats the problem....

Go to My Computer...then "view", and then "folder options". Pick "web style" under the Windows Desktop Update section.

or got to the control panel -> mouse and change to the single click or ....

If your using Internet Explorer you can do it while your reading this.

Go to My computer, View, folder options, put a dot in the custom, click settings, then go to the bottom and click "single click to open an item.

That is the only feature you will put on the system. You wont get the web channel bar doing it this way.

Follow these steps to get single-click:
1. Go to Windows Explorer.
2. Go to View - Folder Options.
3. Choose the "Web Style" option in the list.
You get the single-click option now.
