FlameOut

I don't know if this is a MB problem or not, but when I plug in my speaker to the MB, I get a loud two tone 'alarm' like sound. I have no idea what is causing it. It happens right from a bootup, so I don't think it's any software. I was unable to find any reference to this in the user manual either.
Anyone have any ideas what might be casuing it? (I have the speaker unplugged from the MB for now)

I think I know what my problem is. I've noticed my CPU fan is no longer working (on a celeron 300a), and the chip is overheating and setting off the CPU alarm (settings in the BIOS)

I had that problem when my fan quit on my BF6 but it took a couple of minutes. As for the grounding, I had a screw slip between the board and case and got the same thing (grounded).
