How do you like it otherwise? I tried it with win98 and had problems with software and problems with camera outside, mind you it was winter and real cold out!

when i had problems installing a sblive a year ago they told me to go their news group...so for over a month i struggled with the card til i finally got it instaleed right...

I have a Creative DVD w/card, a SB Live sound card and a creative cd rom and have never had any trouble from them. In my past instalation experiences I dont recall ever having any trouble with there stuff. Maybe an old 2x cd rom where it was connected to the sound card but that was just a matter of obtaining the right software. Sorry about your guys luck.

I own 4 Creative sound cards, three Creative graphics boards, and a Creative CD-ROM, and have had always had excellent customer service with every one of them.

Creative has major suck tech support. Their products are great. But I sent them an email about win2k drivers and they answered me 6 weeks later. I try to buy other brands whenever I have the chance.

Ummm...hold on guys...

It ain't CL...it's the industry accepted norm!

All mnanufacturers do the same thing. Just try to get help from ATI tech...biggest idiots I ever talked to...cost me 3 hours long distance with no resolution.

It's not just CL, and CL does make some of the best PC products available.

The only creative product I have never had a problem with is SB16.

Everything else has had one problem or another. the SB16 works in any machine and most OSs I've tried it with.

"it works perfectly under win98"......consider yourself lucky!! I fought with a Webcam3 for just under 3 months before I took it back and got something that worked. I actually considered the GO after that fisaco, but the store could'nt even get it to work reliably enough for a demo!! Too bad....the concept is a good one. If yours is working perfectly in Win98 as you say, then you've got yourself a nice little rig there!

Apparently, there are drivers now available for Win2k, but no software to run the thing. I remember seeing something about that on the C/L newsgroup.....it may have been the Omnivision reference drivers.

ya under win98 its the best thing for this price

great quality photos and exellent video

ya this is true
almost all HW companies are like this
its not only CL but i think since win2k has been out for 2months they should have a driver for it

or wait
the drivers work under win2k
but the software does not
HOW HARD CAN IT BE DO MAKE A SOFTWARE THAT WORKS UNDER WIN2K if they use the same code and just modify it
