I have a tyan tsunami mobo. Bought it on Ebay. Guy who sold it said it was new out of the box. Turns out the bios chip has been swapped. I have an Award bios out of a Monorail comp. The board is supposed to have an AMI bios. I have looked all over, including AMI, and I have yet to fink a D$%# link to a retailer who sells bios chips.
Anyone know of one? I know I've seen a couple of sites, but That was months ago(when I didn't need one, of course)

I always contact the motherboard manufacturer. Usually they will ship a new bios chip right to your front door for a few dollars. A friend of mine had to order one from Abit for a bx6-2 awhile back, and they charged him $15 US. Here's Tyan's support page:

Nope, they were no help. I sent the first email shortly after getting the mobo.
They sent an email back stating that my particular does not come with an award bios
I sent a second email acknowledging this, and they sent the reply "probably the right bios with the wrong sticker".
Sent third email with bios numbers (I440BX-NS309-2A69KT50C00) and stated in the email that it was indeed an award bios. Then they replied that they don't sell bios, and I should find a retailer that sells the chips.
My real prob is that i don't know what AMI bios it is supposed to have. All the sites do is suggest using the serial numbers, but I know its the wrong one. Will any one work?
And where to find a chip seller?
