i just added a tnt2 ultra card to my system, and now have random video crashes....there seems to be enough stories around about this board having voltage supply probs with high end agp cards that i think i might be suffering from this problem...
does anyone know if it is possible to adjust I/O voltage on this board?

Yup, sounds like the voltage problem. I
e-mailed Gigabyte about this several times, asking what the exact power supply to the AGP slot was - no replies; what a surprise there. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
The only way I've ever heard of getting enough power to the AGP card is by soldering a wire from the 3.3v connector to the correct pin(s) on the AGP slot. Trouble is, the only site I ever found on how to do this was in German, and it wasn't for the GA-5AX, but for a very similar board. So the proper instructions do exist, and apparently, it does work. I decided to get a different motherboard - one with enough power, and one with better hardware monitoring. I have an Asus P5A board, and the only problem with power I have now is: too much(see posting in this section entitled Voltage Too High). It should have no problem running the TNT2 Ultra. Good luck!
