I'm looking to upgrade my system with the Athlon 550 or 600. What's the best motherboard to use? They all seem to have about the same stuff with minor differences. I'm also looking to overclock either on the mobo or with the o/c card. From my own research I have been leaning towards the Microstar 6195 or Asus K7M. Any input or experiences would be great.

Well, if you're looking to get one right away, either the MSI or ASUS boards are good quality ones. The ASUS is able to overclock the CPU on the board, but has only been stable at a 110mhz bus speed.
If you can wait another month (about the end of March) you should start seeing the boards that use Via's 133 chipset. It will also include AGP 4x (which is a small point IMO).
These will be able to use PC-133 SDRAM, and allow better O/C abilities.
I currently have the Microstar(MSI) board, and have had no problems running my 600mhz CPU. I don't overclock, so I can't give you any info on my experiences with it. I do know that, at this time, the ASUS board is the only one that has some O/C ability directly on the board.

Hope this info helps.
