OK, so i've got this celeron 400 and its meant to go into socket 370 on my Abit BH6 (correct, i've never done this before !).
How do I find this mystical socket ? do I need an adaptor or just a crash course in computing ?
Anybody with any thoughts on the setup, i would really value your opinion.
Cheers !

I have that setup on one of my pcs
The connector for your Abit board is a slot 1. Your celeron is a socket 370. You need to buy an adaptor (slocket). You put the celeron chip in the socket 370 connector in the adaptor, put on your fan, & stick the adaptor in the slot 1 connector on the motherboard. You can buy the adaptor for @ $10 for a cheap one, $ 20 or so for a brand name one.
Get everything running and then you can play around with over clocking. Search this entire site (abit, overclock, etc for some useful tips. Start easy. You should have no problem getting that celeron to run at 450 with good quality standard components. Higher speeds will necessitate higher quality (and more expensive components such as fans, etc.)
Good Luck
