I've upgraded my BIOS to version 250 to get the possibility to Boot from SCSI-disk when having installed both - EIDE(20GB) & SCSI(4GB) disks. (Booting sequence SCSI,C,A)
My problem is now as follows:
The BIOS recognizes both - EIDE & SCSI disks at initialization properly, but when starting OS (DOS or NT40 SP5) the EIDE-disk is not longer available. Not even through disk manager in WinNT.
Could this be a bug of the BIOS?
Maybe the BIOS associates the EIDE-disk as drive letter C: at initialization of the EIDE interface, but then, when initializing the SCSI-interface, the SCSI disk is associated drive letter C: & the EIDE disk becomes unavailable.
Irritating is, that when setting Booting sequence C: (EIDE), the EIDE-disk is recognized well.
If anyone has ever got the same or a similiar problem, please HELP!
Thanks.
