I have a Chaintech CT-5AGM2 board and I have a UDMA66 hard disk. This board doesn't support UDMA66, but I guess it should at least work as UDMA33. Every time I check the DMA box in the Device Manager, it becomes unchecked when I reboot.

Anyone knows the reason or a way to activate it?

My BIOS's UDMA settings are set to AUTO, I have to choose between AUTO and DISABLED.

My drive is a Fujitsu 6.4 Gb.

Are you using the correct drivers for your hard disk controller?
I had the same problem and solved just downloading the correct driver.
Good Luck and I hope that you can solve this.

Ricardo.

P.S.: By the way, my HD is one Fujitsu 8.4 Gb
