well, here it goes. I am trying to install windows2000 and the setup program works fine until it has to restart the system, when it does this win2k doesnt load up....it says cant find boot disk or something to that nature. I have the soyo 6BA+IV motherboard and the hard drive (WestDig ATA66 7200rpm) is attached to the ATA66 IDE port. I am thinking that maybe win2k does not recognize booting from this port???? If this is so is there a way to get around it or am i doing something wrong? Thanks guys i really appreciate it.

yep you are right connect the u66 drive to the udma 33 port and install win2000
then download the drivers and instructions
for using the udma 66 port
