My buddy has the BE6 II and it displays 3 temperatures(two winbond and thermal diode). I have the BE6 and it only displays two temperatures (winbond and thermal diode).
With his the thermal diode (44 degrees celcius) is accurate and one of the winbond (case temp) is accurate. However the other winbond temperature shows it is in the high 50's and low 60's.
My question is, where is this other temperature coming from? The only things that I can think of is on the other side of the cpu, on the asus socket, or maybe the chipset.
We have looked on the abit site, in the manual and other discussion forums with no luck.
