Was wondering how many times it is theoretically possible to reburn a cd-rw.
This is assuming you don't do anything to frag it in the meantime. what is the highest count anyone here has got up to? Thanks, ya'll. Mp
Well Duhh! I dig a little diggin' on HP's site and they say about 1000 times dat's Kool
I didn't think it would be that many! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Most of my friends have been telling me that 3 or 4 dozen is the best they've gotten....

You're supposed to be able to burn them 999 times.

I keep re-burning a CD-RW that has all my work on it, and it's never given me any problems. I think I'm up to 16 re-burns. And who knows, maybe if you do a full erase every now and then, you can get up to 999.
