ASUS K7M + ASUS V6800 DDR GeForce256:
Manually changing the bios settings results in the CPU NOT using its internal cache. Which means it performs at about 70Mhz. No playing Quake at that performance!! (9fps)
Loading Fail Safe Settings or Optimized Settings resolves the performance issue, but gives the 10 second beep.
I would like to be able to set the bios myself!!
Any Ideas???
