I'm just looking for a athlon motherboard with
4x agp support. While I'm on the subject. Is there any good prices 4x agp motherboards that can use the celeron? It looks like the 820 by intel doesn't talk about support for the celeron.

Thanks for any help.

None of the curent ones. Second generation Athlon boards based on the kx 133 chipset will be out soon, and they'll have
4x agp support.

Who cares? Nothing currently makes use of 4x AGP speed. 99% of titles don't even make use of 2x AGP.

AGP speed is all marketing hype for now. Theoretically, it could benifit a poorly coded, huge textured, hog of a game. But with 32mb or more of RAM on a video card the AGP speed will almost never come into play.

If you can get hardware that supports the 4x speed, then great, but don't pay extra for it.
