Makes me sick to my stomach. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Axel 04-07-2000, 09:19 AM just tried the link and it's dead - that was fast.... NoCtrl 04-07-2000, 09:19 AM I don't know if I'd want to go to a surgeon that does not know how to tie their shoes. SysOpt 04-07-2000, 11:18 AM http://news.excite.com/news/r/000406/11/odd-nike-suit wyvrn 04-07-2000, 11:25 AM All I can say is BOGUS. jad1097 04-07-2000, 11:29 AM I guees I forgot that the link was my @home home page, thanks. I found the story funny seeing how this lawsuit was even allowed to be pursued in our courts. Axel 04-07-2000, 11:57 AM Stupid over-achievers filing idiotic law-suits - I have ABSOLUTELY no pitty except for the lady's child.......to have to live in the shadow of such a parent.... I hope the counter-suit coming on is incredibly painful while not impacting the child of the bone-head!!! jl123 04-07-2000, 02:16 PM That is so stupid. It's like a lady trying to sue the eletrical company for her husband being shocked when he stuck a fork in the outlet. YOu know some people just don't have commom sense. Am i right?? I think so http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif There's too many people like her. What is our society coming to??? ~JOel(jl123) [This message has been edited by jl123 (edited 04-07-2000).] KillerBug 04-07-2000, 02:25 PM Maybee I could kick myself in the head and sue airwalk for their shoes "defect". bobcat 04-07-2000, 03:00 PM Does this mean that if I trip on my carpet I could sue the carpet manufacturer....Yeah, the carpet strands where too long...got tangled...broke every bone in my body. This is the same thing one would see when wanna be skydivers would come to jump. Some idiot would come to do his first jump. Before he gets to jump he has to read and sign a waiver that states he could DIE...be dismembered...etc. Then the joker screws up, gets hurt really bad and it is the DZ's fault. "I didn't realize I could get hurt jumping out of an airplane." narayan 04-07-2000, 04:20 PM Kinda like suing gun manufacturers when someone gets shot. KillerBug 04-07-2000, 04:58 PM And while we are on the subject, suing tobaco companies, "I figured breething in fire was good for my lungs!" desmocat 04-08-2000, 12:40 AM DUHHH, I cant tie my shoes correctly, so I'll sue the shoe manufactuer. This is a prime example of what I have deemed the "something for nothing society". This kind of thing gets me going. I remember a long time ago that Bell Helmet co had a fund set up for B.S lawsuit defense. One suit was filed by a widow because the helmet didn't protect her husband's head in the accident he was involved in. Oh yeah, his head was run over by the rear tandems OF A CONCRETE TRUCK! get a friggin clue.. If it keeps up,nobody will have anything, 'cept the lawyers..soapbox back underthe desk now...have a good weekend http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif SysOpt.com
