Hey folks, I just got a new toy to play with, an HP 9100 cd-rw and was wondering if anybody else has one and how you like it.
Also looking for any drawbacks/bugs you have encountered with it. I am running win98SE and I have the burner as master and my toshiba 40X as slave on IDE2 and my HD(maxtor 13.6 gig udma-66) on IDE1 as master.
Does this sound like the optimum setup?
Trying to get a feel for it before I start makin' coasters http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Try it that way.

My HD is on teh Primary IDE as a master.

I have my HP 8200i series as the Slave to my Kenwood 52x drive on the Secondary IDE.
