Choosing a Slot 1 Board?

Just curious as to a suggestion on a slot 1 board supporting a PIII 600 (at most)

Looking into an Asus P299 to keep it at around $100

You might also want to look into the Abit BF-6 motherboard.

i am running an asus p3b-f and love it. it is about $20 more than you are looking at spending but this is a great motherboard.
