I'd go with the 400 mhz celeron. Do you want UDMA 66 or not? It's not really as great as everyones saying, theres not a real difference, the bigger difference is between 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm and access times. If youre wanting UDMA66, go with the BE6, or BE6-II. If you dont want the UDMA66, go with the BF6. I'll sell you a BE6 if you want, I only used it a few hours, havent even had a chance to burn in. In retail box with all the goodies. Email me if youre interested http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Sorry bout that in the group, just trying to help a guy out http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Celerons are multiplier locked. In theory, a processor with a 100 mhz bus would be best, because there are more FSB speeds abover 100 mhz. But, I just remembered 400's lick at overclocking. Ah well, check the CPU database and see whatchip has the best overclocking stats

the 366's are gunna be the best clockers. If you get a new one, you have a relatively good chance of hitting the 5.5x100 (550)

For celerons, your going to want more clockspeeds between 83 and 100, cuz that point will usually be your clocking threshold.

The BH6 is not as stable as most other boards these days (either is the BE6). I believe the BH6 has pasted its time, but still gets the job done most of the time.
If you have any other choices, try them instead. (for your purposes, id recommend the BF6, if you can get it)

I just bought a be6 about 3 weeks ago. I must admit it was not an easy board to get up and running. After 3 complete reloads of Windows and the latest BIOS flash I still can not get the ata66 drivers to boot. If you are just looking for an easy overclocker, it's a pretty good board. I don't think I would buy another one. Maybe you will have better luck that I have.....others have given it pretty high marks. Do your homework.....it's worth the time.
