Has anyone here installed a Soyo 6BA+ IV?

I need help from someone who is familar with the installation of the Soyo 6BA+ IV. I cannot get mine to work, and I've tried everything I can think of. I must be missing something.

what exactly is your problem? the only really major problem i had is that win98 will freeze after the ata66 controller drivers are installed. don't have ata66 drives so i just leave the controller unrecognized (yellow exclamations in device manager).

I have and it works just fine E-mail with your problems and i'll help you out, Now about the ata/66 controllers, it is a bug in the vxd file that comes with it, to fix the problem remove the file hptpwr.vxd from the c:\windows\system\iosubsys\ folder anyways the vxd file it is not need it by win98x but do leave hpt366.mpd alone. The problem is caused when the hpt controller loads up the bios it powers on so when windows loads up the hptpwr.vxd it will crash the comp. The controller can be use to run ata/33 or 66 no mather HD you have it will work.
