AuraEdge 12-08-1999, 05:44 PM Is this an Intel board or just an Intel Chipset? Assuming its an Intel board, you cannot overclock it, as Intel doesnt (and has no reason to) put in any options for overclocking on thier boards. 800XL 12-09-1999, 10:22 AM That is an Intel board. You are stuck unless you can get SoftFSB to work with it, which I have heard rumors of people being able to do. The only other option is to try changing it to 333Mhz and hoping that you have an early 300Mhz chip that does not have a locked multiplier. Odds don't favor that. Is this a board that came in a name brand system or a plain old Intel board/bios? With the latest Intel bios on it, you can drop a slotket and a Celeron (even a 500) into it without a problem. Some of the name brand (Dell, Packard Bell, NEC, etc)bioses have troubles though. Getting from an OEM name brand bios to an Intel bios is tough, but I can write out the process for you. SysOpt.com
