Dear visitors,

I reinstalled win 98, but still experience the standby feature does not work good.

After the set time has expired, it does only occasionally go to the standby modus.

Can sombody help me solve it ?

Hi!

Try the latest BIOS, from http://www.pcchips.com.tw/BIOS

Next, W98 has a few standby mode issues regarding the screensaver. Read at Microsoft's site.

Finally, you need to get the setup of "don't sleep"/"wakeup" events right in your BIOS setup.

I've used the M571 with W95B and W98, and had no problems with standby mode (after I got the above stuff right :-)
